Open a Reaper Project in Nuendo or Cubase

Nuendo and Cubase (both from Steinberg) share the same OMF importer, so the steps are identical whichever one you're using.

Select File > Import > OMF and pick the .omf file. If a project is already open you can choose whether to create a new project or import into the current one.

In the Import Options dialog, choose which tracks to bring in. The options include importing at the original timecode position and importing clip gain as automation.

You can convert your Reaper project to OMF for free here.

Going the other way? Here's how to open an OMF file in Reaper.
